SC Redondelo's Rodrigo Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When António Velasques fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leixões's protests and gave António Velasques a yellow card for diving instead. Delfim Trindade scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamilton Veríssimo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, SC Redondelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Delfim Trindade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0.
