Timóteo Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Freitas in the 15th minute of play. If João Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Bernardes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Xavier Delgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Britelo FC's Rafael Rocha got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Crueis FC's Rui Bernardes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timóteo Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Freitas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Carlos Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Britelo FC's Carlos Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timóteo Vilas Boas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Carlos Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timóteo Vilas Boas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Alcino Palha kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Carlos Costa made a precise shot to the right of Timóteo Vilas Boas. Crueis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Crueis FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Britelo FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Freitas to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Vasco Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rui Bernardes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Crueis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Bernardes couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Crueis FC's goalkeeper Timóteo Vilas Boas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Rocha. In the 82nd match minute, Crueis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Delgado came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Crueis FC's Rui Bernardes. But to his dismay, Rui Bernardes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crueis FC's goalkeeper Timóteo Vilas Boas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sandro Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crueis FC's protests and gave Sandro Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Crueis FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Moreira.
