Vasco Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Fiúza in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Pádua in the 16th managed to get into a good position. Vasco Delgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Pádua went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, SC Almofala's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Fiúza came free, but Vasco Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abílio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
