Lisandro Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 19 minutes on the clock, Humberto Brites commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 20 played minutes Vitória de Janes got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Brites. David Freitas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Gabriel Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitória de Janes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Vasco Delgado managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Vitória de Janes's Lisandro Santarém fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Almofala's goalkeeper Vasco Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitória de Janes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
