One of SC Bestida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deveseira:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Deveseira. Cristóvão Oliveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeferino Vides. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Luís Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeferino Vides. SC Bestida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Adolfo Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Deveseira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Trindade couldn't finish the play. Almiro Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Baptista having to interfere. After 31 played minutes SC Bestida got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Carrasqueira. Cristóvão Oliveira, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimas Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute SC Bestida were awarded a corner. Silvestre Cavaco went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 60 in the game by Adolfo Trindade from a close distance when the talented Zeferino Vides managed to make a qualified save. SC Bestida's players were relieved. Zeferino Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Barros in the 64th minute of play. Lourenço Durães kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. SC Bestida's Zeferino Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Bestida from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Dimas Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimas Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
