But to his dismay, Lourenço Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrício Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvério Soveral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Cabral in the 59th minute of the match. Serrinha F.C.'s Francisco Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Serrinha F.C. from getting a goal against them.
