When Pecene's Daniel Baptista in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Catarino Almeida spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bravais's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Baptista in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvério Soveral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Fabrício Tomé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Baptista in the 28th minute of play forced Bravais's goalkeeper Silvério Soveral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Bravais's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Baptista came free, but Silvério Soveral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bravais's goalkeeper Silvério Soveral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Catarino Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério Soveral came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pecene's Sebastião Pereira. But to his dismay, Sebastião Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Linhares was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Vasco Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pecene's zone, Patrício Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Vale came out of the goal and Patrício Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Bravais's Patrício Amorim in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pecene's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Silvério Soveral made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, João Moutinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvério Soveral, 0-3. Daniel Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvério Soveral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Rui Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bravais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pecene the free kick. Rui Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Patrício Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bravais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrício Amorim couldn't finish the play. Silvério Soveral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Baptista went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Bravais supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pecene's performance. The match ended with a win for Pecene.
