Fabiano Lessa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Vladimiro Sardinha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Quintino Carmona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Valério Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jordão Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penuzinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordão Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Nicolas Vidigal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tomareis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Vidigal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Jordão Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuzinhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valério Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Ferraz in the 18th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Ribeiro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Tomareis's Óscar Ribeiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jordão Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Baptista having to interfere. Vítor Gouveia kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Valério Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordão Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Penuzinhos FC's Quintino Carmona got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Vidigal to make the kick off. Valério Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Ferraz in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jordão Ferraz took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Valério Baptista to make any attempt to save it. If Nicolas Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Fabiano Lessa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Sardinha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, Penuzinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Lessa came free, but Vladimiro Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Vidigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Sardinha having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Penuzinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Sales to maneuver through the defense. Quintino Carmona in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valério Baptista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valério Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quintino Carmona went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Penuzinhos FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. André Macena hit a great ball. Patrício Ferreira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dércio Pestana charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dércio Pestana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Dércio Pestana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Lessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Penuzinhos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
