Gastão Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Camarnais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Flávio Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Camarnais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Carneiro couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Gastão Belém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilídio Valente. In the 24th minute, Gastão Belém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilídio Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Pascoal Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Camarnais's zone, Jorge Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Maltez came out of the goal and Jorge Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gastão Belém couldn't finish the play. Diogo Vale hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Camarnais had played much better football throughout.
