Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nélson Valente kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Afeiteira getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luís Henriques hit a great ball. Marco Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Damião Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Marco Veigas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Hugo Barbosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Faro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hugo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Leão in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Abobreira's Hugo Barbosa got control of the ball when Marco Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Marco Veiga sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Abobreira booed when Afeiteira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Leão in the 26th minute of play forced Abobreira's goalkeeper Hugo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, one of Abobreira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Afeiteira. Sandro Correia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Barbosa. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Leão in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rúben Pires sped through Afeiteira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Teixeira. In the 43rd minute, Mariano Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Afeiteira's Marco Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mariano Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marco Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afeiteira's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abobreira's Hugo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Veiga in the 58th minute of play. Abobreira's Rúben Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nélson Valente in the 69th minute of play forced Afeiteira's goalkeeper Nuno Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rúben Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Leão scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Nélson Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
