In the 20th minute, Vítor Portela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Vasco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Bessa in the 26th minute of the match. Carlos Freitas's late challenge caught a Remelhe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to G D Águias de Camarate getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carlos Freitas hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Carlos Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Remelhe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Viana came free, but Vasco Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Portela to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, G D Águias de Camarate's Carlos Freitas got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the G D Águias de Camarate defense, Paulo Vigário kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Fernandes. The G D Águias de Camarate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Fernandes should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, G D Águias de Camarate's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Portela came free, but Artur Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Remelhe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Bessa came free, but Vasco Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G D Águias de Camarate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
