Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zacarias Rijo kicked off to start the match. Jerónimo Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Magalhães in the 5th minute of play. With his leg Jerónimo Tristão managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Carva's Heitor Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Heitor Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jerónimo Tristão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Carva's Eusébio Magalhães ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerónimo Tristão. Jerónimo Tristão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Eusébio Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heitor Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jerónimo Tristão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, João Gentil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varadouro FC and the Carva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Vilaverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Magalhães in the 38th minute of play forced Varadouro FC's goalkeeper Jerónimo Tristão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varadouro FC's goalkeeper Jerónimo Tristão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heitor Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Magalhães made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Leonardo Vilaverde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carva's Eduardo Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonardo Vilaverde in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Barros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jerónimo Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Magalhães in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alexandre Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carva's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerónimo Tristão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerónimo Tristão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Varadouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Soares came free, but Jerónimo Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Vilaverde in the 83rd minute. After 85th play minutes Eusébio Magalhães shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jerónimo Tristão and just under the crossbar into goal. When Eusébio Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Carva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Carva's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
