In the 11th minute of the match Rui Moreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lourenço Boaventura skillfully saved the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Pingueiradas's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Figueiras came free, but Adelino Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pingueiradas's goalkeeper Adelino Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Duarte Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Ribeiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pingueiradas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Duarte Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SF Lisboa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Andrei to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SF Lisboa booed when Pingueiradas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Andrei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lourenço Boaventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Andrei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Boaventura having to make a save. In the 91st minute, António Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lourenço Boaventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Andrei, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pingueiradas's Adelino Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Pingueiradas from getting a goal against them. The SF Lisboa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
