The referee showed Hélder Figueiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, SF Lisboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Tobias Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SF Lisboa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varadouro FC the free kick. A collision led to SF Lisboa getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tobias Domingues hit a great ball. If Leonardo Vilaverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Figueiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varadouro FC's Jerónimo Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Figueiras in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Vilaverde was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Figueiras took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerónimo Tristão. Jerónimo Tristão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. João Gentil kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Leonardo Vilaverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Ribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Tristão having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Varadouro FC's zone, Fabiano Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerónimo Tristão came out of the goal and Fabiano Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Hélder Figueiras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varadouro FC's Jerónimo Tristão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fabiano Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SF Lisboa's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerónimo Tristão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Figueiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. In the 93rd minute Hélder Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SF Lisboa's Fabiano Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabiano Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Varadouro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
