The supporters of Rio de Janeiro Tigers booed when SónicBillys da Moita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Silveira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, SónicBillys da Moita's Pascoal Casado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Carreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SónicBillys da Moita reached it. 20 minutes into the match, Rio de Janeiro Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Leiria came free, but Cristiano Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rio de Janeiro Tigers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascoal Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time SónicBillys da Moita's players had a chance to rest. Rodrigo Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Humberto Monsanto came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Rio de Janeiro Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Monsanto couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Cruz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, SónicBillys da Moita's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Henriques came free, but Rodrigo Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Carreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Gama in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Rio de Janeiro Tigers's zone, Diamantino Gama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Carreira came out of the goal and Diamantino Gama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Gama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cristiano Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Rio de Janeiro Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Castanheira. 66 minutes into the match, SónicBillys da Moita's Pascoal Casado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 68 played minutes Rio de Janeiro Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Moreira. Rodrigo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Henriques in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the SónicBillys da Moita defense, Donato Henriques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Cruz. The SónicBillys da Moita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Cruz should have stopped the shot. Gonçalo Alcântara's late challenge caught a SónicBillys da Moita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the last second Cristiano Carreira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Silvestre Leiria in the 89thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Edgar Moreira hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Edgar Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rio de Janeiro Tigers fully deserved thier win.
