Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cujo's Hélder Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Neto in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Carromeu FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Filipe Henriques hit a great ball. With his leg Lucas Faro managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Cujo's José Abreu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Santos hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Viriato Gomes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Neto in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Cujo's zone, Diogo Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Azevedo came out of the goal and Diogo Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, David Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Azevedo having to interfere. Afonso Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nuno Neto came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Carromeu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Neto couldn't finish the play. Lucas Faro made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Afonso Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Neto struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Hélder Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carromeu FC. 47 minutes into the match, Cujo's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Soares came free, but Hélder Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Neto was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Soares got free with Hélder Azevedo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Abreu in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Cujo's Afonso Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Afonso Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lucas Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasco Veiga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Diogo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hélder Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Azevedo having to interfere. José Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Faro having to interfere. When Nuno Neto fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carromeu FC's protests and gave Nuno Neto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carromeu FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nuno Neto hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Carromeu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cujo.
