After some careless play in the Morrones S.C defense, Nuno Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Caneira. The Morrones S.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Caneira should have stopped the shot. Humberto Caneira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Carromeu FC's Nuno Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Caneira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Morrones S.C's Humberto Caneira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Soares in the 32nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Morrones S.C's Lucas Faro threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Leiria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Augusto Vidigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Faro having to interfere. If Nuno Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Augusto Vidigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lucas Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Augusto Vidigal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Faro was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Filipe Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A hard shot by Domingos Andrade from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Humberto Caneira's attention. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carromeu FC. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Morrones S.C. Lucílio Amaro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucas Faro. 1-4. After 79 minutes, Amado Vasques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morrones S.C and the Carromeu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84thth minute of the game Isidro Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carromeu FC's Lucas Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Faro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Leiria in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Faro saved Carromeu FC from getting behind. Augusto Vidigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Lucas Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carromeu FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
