Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Azevedo started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes SC Corveira got a freekick which was hit by André Matos. In the 9th minute, Eske Scheef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Angelo Lucena took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alexandre Reis to make any attempt to save it. When Aldo Inko came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Corveira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Inko couldn't finish the play. André Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Gerosa during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes SC Corveira got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Gerosa. Jorge Domingos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Gerosa in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sérgio Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Corveira's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Domingos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Joaquim Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Domingos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Lucena charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Lucena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Corveira booed when Oleiros Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Lucena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If André Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Angelo Lucena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Domingos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Matos struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jorge Domingos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Corveira. Joaquim Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jorge Domingos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rui Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Corveira's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Domingos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes of play, SC Corveira's Joaquim Azevedo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Domingos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teófilo Guimarães to make the kick off. Aldo Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Domingos having to interfere. Oleiros Futebol Clube's Jorge Domingos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Domingues in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Corveira's Bento Azevedo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alexandre Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudemiro Ribas in the 66th minute of the match. Joaquim Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jorge Domingos made a huge save. SC Corveira's Eraldo Gerosa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Domingos came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Corveira's Eraldo Gerosa. But to his dismay, Eraldo Gerosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 97th minute, Bento Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Corveira played a much better game than Oleiros Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Oleiros Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
