To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Teixeira took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Leal. Rogério Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Amadeu Ferro took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Assis. Abel Assis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 13 minutes into the match, Silvaldinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Gaspar came free, but Rogério Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Silvaldinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Miradeses's Gaspar Teixeira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rogério Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Teixeira in the 24th minute of play forced Silvaldinho FC's goalkeeper Rogério Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Ferro struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Abel Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvaldinho FC. A collision led to Miradeses getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ricardo Santos hit a great ball. Silvaldinho FC's Nuno Amorim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Assis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vítor Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Amadeu Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Silvaldinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Ferro couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Ferro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Abel Assis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Teixeira to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Américo Gaspar from a close distance when the talented Rogério Leal managed to make a qualified save. Silvaldinho FC's players were relieved. In the 67th minute Rui Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Silvaldinho FC's goalkeeper Rogério Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Gaspar. In the 72nd match minute, Silvaldinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Américo Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miradeses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, Mário Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Assis. Miradeses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When Américo Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Miradeses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Gaspar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Silvaldinho FC had won after a very even match.
