Ricardo Leiria came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pedrouços's Gustavo Bessa. But to his dismay, Gustavo Bessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Medeiros to make the kick off. Malpartida FC's Ricardo Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Bessa in the 52nd minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Rui Tomé elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Gustavo Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Gustavo Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Malpartida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Mourinho to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ricardo Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Leiria came out of the goal and Enzo Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Pedrouços's Sílvio Monsanto was substituted for Gustavo Bessa. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Rui Tomé sped through Malpartida FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Leiria. Ricardo Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Tomé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Sílvio Monsanto put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Leiria. Angélico Porto's late challenge caught a Malpartida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angélico Porto helped the player get up and apologised. FC Pedrouços made a substitution. Gastão Manso replaced Fabiano Mendonça. After a rather tough play, FC Pedrouços's Angélico Porto got a free kick in the 91st minute.
