When Gentil Fraga fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hospital da Luz 2019's protests and gave Gentil Fraga a yellow card for diving instead. Julião Esparteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Hospital da Luz 2019 booed when Jickael Mackson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Esparteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Diegues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Camargo in the 60th minute. Maurício Diegues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Altino Quintela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Nuno Macena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jickael Mackson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hospital da Luz 2019's zone, Nuno Macena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Reis came out of the goal and Nuno Macena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Lameirinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hospital da Luz 2019 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
