To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Jarl Skröder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Barbosa. Jarl Skröder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nuno Faria struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Heitor Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC flay. 62 minutes into the match, Barreiro United F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Leiria came free, but Heitor Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Moreira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viriato Correia during the 71st minute. SC flay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquis Gary was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Manuel Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Skröder in the 92nd minute of play. Barreiro United F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
