Hamilton Amaral came out of the goal and Diogo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Jairo Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Emil Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Máximo Baía to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamilton Amaral having to make a save. A collision led to Samouco FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rui Viana hit a great ball. Heitor Fontes took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamilton Amaral. Hamilton Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Diogo Oliveira scored 4-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamilton Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Diogo Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Hamilton Amaral. Escoura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jairo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Máximo Baía shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamilton Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Samouco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Escoura FC for a fine match.
