Delfim Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Garcez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Eusébio Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Moisés Guerra hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Vale was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Lourosa FC's Jacinto Amorim to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Garcez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute Emanuel Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Garcez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Dantas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Manuel Garcez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 1-1 became the score in the 59th minute when Óscar Conde elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. David Cabral came out of the goal and Pedro Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Dantas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Garcez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Pedro Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. dragon fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Eusébio Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
