With his leg Abílio Barcelos managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when aguas team sad's Manuel Ramos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 9 played minutes aguas team sad got a freekick which was hit by Ercan Piton. In the 15th match minute, aguas team sad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Ramos was in a good position and ended up with the ball after aguas team sad's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. If Manuel Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Catarino Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Abílio Barcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Ramos scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abílio Barcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ercan Piton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Abílio Barcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Ramos was the one to do the kick off. Abílio Barcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ramos in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Pascoal Barroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faguiaes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave aguas team sad the free kick. Pascoal Barroso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Ercan Piton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Abílio Barcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Ramos in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abílio Barcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Belchior Vilar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faguiaes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave aguas team sad the free kick. Abílio Barcelos had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Delfim Oliveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abílio Barcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Piton in the 69th minute of play. Abílio Barcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ramos in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Faguiaes FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Pascoal Barroso hit a great ball. Abílio Barcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercan Piton, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Ercan Piton came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the aguas team sad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercan Piton couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Ercan Piton made a precise shot to the right of Abílio Barcelos. Faguiaes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
