Éder Quinaz was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Sepp Kobberbirk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sepp Kobberbirk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ricardo Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Éder Quinaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AGUA-LONGA. 27 minutes into the match, METALLICA's goalkeeper Éder Quinaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Coelho. Sepp Kobberbirk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Éder Quinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepp Kobberbirk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Nuno Lisboa put in a rough tackle. In the 35th minute, one of AGUA-LONGA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AGUA-LONGA. 47 minutes into the match, AGUA-LONGA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Lima came free, but Petar Beshkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torcato Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sepp Kobberbirk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Sepp Kobberbirk made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. METALLICA's Éder Quinaz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Éder Quinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Coelho in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Flávio Balsemão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the METALLICA and the AGUA-LONGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes METALLICA got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Balsemão. Éder Quinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sepp Kobberbirk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Pedro Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Flávio Balsemão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petar Beshkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AGUA-LONGA's Petar Beshkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Lima in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, AGUA-LONGA's Sepp Kobberbirk made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éder Quinaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Flávio Balsemão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind METALLICA's goalkeeper Éder Quinaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Pedro Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Quinaz having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Sepp Kobberbirk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AGUA-LONGA fully deserved thier win.
