A collision led to Leitoes getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Daniel Moreira hit a great ball. Américo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Leitoes's goalkeeper Américo Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Melo. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by André Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Francisco Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Fernandes having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Melo got free with Américo Fernandes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Américo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Francisco Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Américo Fernandes to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 44 in the game by André Melo from a close distance when the talented Américo Fernandes managed to make a qualified save. Leitoes's players were relieved. If André Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, AROGA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Rodrigues came free, but Vicente Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Gueifão came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, André Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AROGA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Gabriel Castro had to leave the field with a concussion. When Alexandre Resende fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leitoes's protests and gave Alexandre Resende a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AROGA FC booed when Leitoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, AROGA FC's goalkeeper Vicente Gueifão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Garcia. André Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Fernandes having to interfere. Américo Fernandes came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by AROGA FC's António Neves. But to his dismay, António Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. André Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Fernandes having to interfere. Raul Cruz took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Fernandes. Américo Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AROGA FC had played much better football throughout.
