The audience was convinced that Fábio Campos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Lage was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 63 minutes of play, Meieiras's Fábio Campos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belchior Lage was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in kappa FC's zone, Manuel Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belchior Lage came out of the goal and Manuel Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. kappa FC's Belchior Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Campos in the 70th minute of play. If Vítor Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belchior Lage having to make a save. In the 74th minute Fábio Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
