Amílcar Baião showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílcar Baião to make the kick off. When Mariano Sá came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the SC Avenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 55thth minute of the game Joel Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tresminas FC's Ivo Sardinha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ivo Sardinha made a huge save. Hipólito Souto's late challenge caught a SC Avenal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipólito Souto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tresminas FC's Hipólito Souto got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the final whistle sounded SC Avenal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tresminas FC.
