David Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Amorim in the 31st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimas Leiria made a kick off. Eusébio Costa's late challenge caught a SC Lavos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Eusébio Costa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Patrício Graça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Reis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The SC Lavos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. SC Lavos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
