Geraldo Paião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Adélio Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Macedo. Dinamo de Lisboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adélio Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luís Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. The wind increased when Vasco Esteves made the kick off in the second half. If Luís Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dinamo de Lisboa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
