Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Gabriel Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Greybulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Baptista couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Josué Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Matias in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Vilaça saved LIAI FC from getting behind. Gabriel Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Guilherme Vilaça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LIAI FC! Guilherme Vilaça went to the wrong direction when Simão Dias was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience was convinced that Rui Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Vilaça was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Greybulls were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after LIAI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simão Dias took the corner. Greybulls's Simão Dias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guilherme Vilaça in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 28 minutes, Josué Esparteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Esparteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, LIAI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Baptista came free, but Guilherme Vilaça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Alexandre Correia threw the ball into play from the sideline. LIAI FC's Emanuel Horta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Juvenal Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Donato Resende fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Donato Resende who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Alexandre Dias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mauro Trigueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIAI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Trigueiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Guilherme Vilaça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Greybulls's Alexandre Dias got control of the ball when Donato Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Donato Resende made the kick off in the second half. Rui Matias in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guilherme Vilaça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th match minute, LIAI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octávio Castro to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Trigueiro's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Mauro Trigueiro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Juvenal Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alexandre Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Vilaça came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Greybulls's Simão Dias. But to his dismay, Simão Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 73rd match minute, Greybulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Correia to maneuver through the defense. Donato Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Greybulls's Dito Cavalcante got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Octávio Castro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donato Resende's late challenge caught a Greybulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Resende helped the player get up and apologised. Donato Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Mauro Trigueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Trigueiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
