Paulo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Pereira in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Paulo Vaz made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Pinto. AD Carregado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pouzadinhas FC's zone, Amílcar Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luz came out of the goal and Amílcar Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AD Carregado getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Viriato Granja hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, AD Carregado's Amílcar Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Pouzadinhas FC booed when AD Carregado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Granja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Granja hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Adelino Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pinto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Vaz in the 74th minute of play forced AD Carregado's goalkeeper Paulo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Paulo Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pouzadinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Vaz couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the AD Carregado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pouzadinhas FC.
