Bernardes's Basílio Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Lopes in the 36th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Bernardes got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Sá. Basílio Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Gueifão in the 40th minute of play. If Claudiu Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Revoltado e Poderoso MZPT booed when Bernardes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Bancroft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albertino Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Armindo Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basílio Simões. Armindo Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Revoltado e Poderoso MZPT's Armindo Lopes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basílio Simões. That made the score 0-5 after 59 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Lopes in the 63rd minute of play forced Bernardes's goalkeeper Basílio Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bernardes's Basílio Simões got control of the ball when Elliot Algoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basílio Simões came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Revoltado e Poderoso MZPT's Joaquim Gueifão. But to his dismay, Joaquim Gueifão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 74th minute, Bernardes's Eduardo Sá seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduardo Sá the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bernardes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduardo Sá had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Bernardes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eduardo Sá hit a great ball. Bernardes made a substitution. Paulo Cunha replaced Emanuel Neves. Bernardes made a substitution. After some careless play in the Bernardes defense, Elliot Algoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Simões. The Bernardes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Simões should have stopped the shot. Basílio Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Gueifão in the 92nd minute of play. Basílio Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bernardes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Marco Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position Basílio Simões, making the score, 1-8. Revoltado e Poderoso MZPT's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
