An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Santarém in the 26th minute of play forced Luzim FC's goalkeeper Idalécio Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Luzim FC defense, Bruno Faro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Idalécio Varanda. The Luzim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Idalécio Varanda should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Faro got free with Idalécio Varanda in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Idalécio Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Santarém in the 32nd minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bujoes's Abel Santarém in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Idalécio Varanda was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Luzim FC through an amazing save. Abel Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Varanda having to interfere. Gastão Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Luzim FC got a freekick which was hit by Gastão Fernandes. Bujoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idalécio Varanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bujoes booed when Luzim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Graça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bujoes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
