When Bruno Moniz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrica's protests and gave Bruno Moniz a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Moniz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, SC Alfragide's goal looked a bit too open when André Garcia came free, but José Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Brandão in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Brandão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Moreira having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rafael Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Brandão in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, SC Alfragide's Wilson Brandão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Brandão struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rafael Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alfragide. Wilson Brandão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Márcio Caires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julião Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Moreira having to interfere. Julião Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute André Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. José Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, André Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrica's supporters rose to their feet, but André Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes SC Alfragide got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Roriz. 84 minutes into the match, SC Alfragide's goalkeeper José Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Barbosa. Bruno Moniz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Carrica's Pedro Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julião Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julião Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Wilson Brandão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
