In the 10th minute Sidónio Monsanto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, F C PORTO's goal looked a bit too open when Sidónio Monsanto came free, but Alexandre Brites reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Júdice kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F C PORTO's Alberto Mesquita got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Vladimiro Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guardal's Altino Matias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Guardal from getting a goal against them. Sidónio Monsanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Alexandre Brites tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Carlos Palha made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marcelo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidónio Monsanto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Modesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Altino Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidónio Monsanto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Brites. That made the score 0-1 in the 91 minute of play. Sidónio Monsanto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 95th playminute.
