SC Bicesse's Nuno Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bringelinho's Abel Vilaça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Cunha in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, João Vital hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Noel Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingos Porto. The goal made the score 1-0. If Severino Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Freitas during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Duarte Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Sá hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, João Vital mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bringelinho and the SC Bicesse players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Bicesse booed when Bringelinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vital didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Vieira made a kick off. Noel Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Rui Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SC Bicesse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Cunha couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Noel Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bringelinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Duarte Leme made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Porto. SC Bicesse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Leme in the 67th minute of play forced SC Bicesse's goalkeeper Domingos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Bicesse's Rafael Pacheco got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graciano Belém during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Graciano Belém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes in the game, Rui Cunha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abel Vilaça having to interfere. Domingos Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Tavares in the 92nd minute of the match. Noel Tavares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Porto having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bringelinho fully deserved thier win.
