António Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Jesus in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Queijas were awarded a corner. Heitor Neto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Queijas's Heitor Neto to fire away a dangerous shot which António Alves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, SC Igarei's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Barros came free, but António Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. António Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Armindo Ponte made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sérgio Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Ponte hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Queijas's Vítor Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, SC Igarei's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Barros came free, but António Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Pedro Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Igarei's António Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Dias in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Pedro Barros took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for António Alves to make any attempt to save it. Armindo Gaspar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Queijas played a much better game than SC Igarei and deserved their victory. The SC Igarei players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
