With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Matos in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Fagundes saved Budens FC from getting behind. Fernando Fagundes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Matos's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Sixto Quinteros lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Fernando Fagundes. Sixto Quinteros took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Fagundes. Fernando Fagundes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Diogo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernando Fagundes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Paulo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube de Ovar's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Fagundes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diogo Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Fagundes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Rui Moura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Fagundes. The goal made the score 3-0. Fernando Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Matos in the 31st minute of the match. Diogo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Fagundes having to interfere. If Diogo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Diogo Matos made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Fagundes came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube de Ovar's Diogo Matos. But to his dismay, Diogo Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sixto Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Fagundes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Budens FC defense, Sixto Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Fagundes. The Budens FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Fagundes should have stopped the shot. Diogo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. The Clube de Ovar fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Clube de Ovar's Diogo Matos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Diogo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
