In the 12th minute, Marco Morais fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marco Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Baião when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Baião having to interfere. Barrancosas FC's Simão Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Magalhães in the 30th minute of play. Éder Valério fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Soares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Morais could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Eliseu Baião however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Barrancosas FC's Eliseu Baião threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonso Leal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 39 minutes, Marco Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancosas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simão Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Resgatados FC's Eliseu Baião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Morais in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Silvério Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resgatados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancosas FC the free kick. After 53 played minutes Resgatados FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Queirós. Marco Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Resgatados FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Renato Mourato hit a great ball. Marco Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Baião having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Leal in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Baião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Afonso Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Baião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Marco Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Baião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Baião having to interfere. Marco Morais's late challenge caught a Resgatados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Morais helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Barrancosas FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Morais. After 88 played minutes Barrancosas FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Torres. Manuel Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barrancosas FC had won after a very even match.
