Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when André Leão made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barqueiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Leão in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Valverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Santana during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FCP getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Daniel Santana hit a great ball. André Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jacob Valverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Leão struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jacob Valverde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barqueiro FC. The supporters of Barqueiro FC booed when FCP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adérito Aveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Valverde was a little too slow when Daniel Fontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0.
The wind increased when Adérito Aveiro made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Valverde having to interfere. Albertino Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCP getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Albertino Flores hit a great ball. If Daniel Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Valverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Barqueiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Monteiro. After 70 played minutes Barqueiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Fontes. If André Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barqueiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCP the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Barqueiro FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FCP:s goal. Despite being the better team, Barqueiro FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
