In the 19thth minute of the game Gaspar Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rabaca's Caio Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caio Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateus Amaral hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Marco Laureano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fernando Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Pinelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Dantas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Rabaca's Elias Eanes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Guarda. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. When Elias Eanes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rabaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Eanes couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Viana's late challenge caught a Pinelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Viana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Rabaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Viana to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Eanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rabaca had won after a very even match.
