If Sandro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Futebol Clube do Green getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sebastião Carneiro hit a great ball. Viriato Leal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match.
