In the 14th minute Jaime Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Lucena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, OBC Team's Alexandre Monteiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cândido Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Tardariz FC's Jaime Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfírio Lucena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, OBC Team's Alexandre Monteiro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Nuno Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porfírio Lucena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind OBC Team's goalkeeper Porfírio Lucena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexandre Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. The Tardariz FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while OBC Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
