Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Sardinha to make the kick off. Augusto Cruz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Rafael Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laundos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Campos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Lopes. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laundos FC's goalkeeper Rafael Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Lagoinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Brito struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dário Baldaia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laundos FC. Afonso Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Armindo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laundos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Laundos FC were the better team. Laundos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
