Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isac Sousa started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Espeses's zone, Heitor Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Manso came out of the goal and Heitor Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Cordeiro during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Espeses! Jorge Moura shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bento Manso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Manso went to the wrong direction when Jorge Moura was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 13th minute, Cândido Bettencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Basílio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Luz's late challenge caught a Portchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Luz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Espeses getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Noel Luz hit a great ball. Basílio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Manso having to interfere. Basílio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Bettencourt during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Portchester City booed when SC Espeses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Bettencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lourenço Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bento Manso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Cândido Bettencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lourenço Martins in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bento Manso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Manso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Lourenço Martins made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Martins in the 51st minute of play forced SC Espeses's goalkeeper Bento Manso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bento Manso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Heitor Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bento Manso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Basílio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bento Manso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Costa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bento Manso firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute, Lourenço Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bento Manso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 75 played minutes Portchester City got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Niedziela. Alexandre Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cordeiro in the 76th minute of play. Carlos Luz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alexandre Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Sousa in the 83rd minute of the match. Isac Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SC Espeses getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cândido Bettencourt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Portchester City's Heitor Brás got a free kick in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
