Gil Henriques hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Alcino Porto kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 8thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sporting Clube Portugal's keeper Daniel Tavares was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to TunesFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nuno Falcão hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in TunesFC's zone, Villiam Odin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Guterres came out of the goal and Villiam Odin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamim Seco in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Guterres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamim Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Perdigão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Daniel Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Perdigão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Tavares went to the wrong direction when Paulino Horta was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 42nd minute Paulino Horta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamim Seco in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Guterres saved TunesFC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lázaro Perdigão made the kick off in the second half. Honorato Guterres made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when José Henriques sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Benjamim Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TunesFC's Honorato Guterres. Honorato Guterres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Américo Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes, TunesFC's Paulino Horta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Tavares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TunesFC reached it. Benjamim Secos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Honorato Guterres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TunesFC's Honorato Guterres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save TunesFC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Malta during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Óscar Malta kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Benjamim Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 92nd minute, when Sporting Clube Portugal's Ezequiel Gilen after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Honorato Guterres in TunesFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 96 minutes into the game, Benjamim Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Honorato Guterres. Benjamim Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Sporting Clube Portugal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
