Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Baptista took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarnado FC's Manuel Mendes got a free kick in the 4th minute. Aldo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adalberto Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nuno Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Sarnado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Valadão came free, but Nuno Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarnado FC's Nuno Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Simões in the 15th minute of play. André Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Mariano Baptista hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Emanuel Calheiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nuno Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Adalberto Valadão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimalhas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Valadão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Sarnado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Valadão came free, but Nuno Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarnado FC's Nuno Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Valadão in the 36th minute of play. Nuno Viegas came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cimalhas FC's Aldo Simões. But to his dismay, Aldo Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Calheiros in the 40th minute of play forced Sarnado FC's goalkeeper Nuno Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Sarnado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Mendes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cimalhas FC booed when Sarnado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Adalberto Valadão made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Cimalhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Simões to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Valadão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sarnado FC's zone, Adalberto Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Viegas came out of the goal and Adalberto Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mendes in the 62nd minute of the match. Nuno Viegas made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Aldo Simões sent off a good shot on target. If Adalberto Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Simõess short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Nuno Viegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Sarnado FC's Nuno Viegas got control of the ball when Aldo Simões tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Nunes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Aldo Simões struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nuno Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimalhas FC. Sarnado FC's Nuno Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Valadão in the 77th minute of play. Humberto Nunes's late challenge caught a Cimalhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Sarnado FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Nunes. In the 83rd minute, Adalberto Valadão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sarnado FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Adalberto Valadão scored to the left of an out of position Nuno Viegas, making the score, 0-2. In the 89th match minute, Sarnado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Baptista to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Adalberto Valadão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cimalhas FC played a much better game than Sarnado FC and deserved their victory. The Sarnado FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
