Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Atafona FC booed when Montinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Atafona FC's João Macedo tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raul Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Tinoco having to interfere. Fabrício Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Viana's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16th play minute Renato Sardinha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Humberto Brás. 1-0. In the 20th minute of the match Francisco Henriques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrício Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Neves in the 22nd minute of play forced Montinhos FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atafona FC's Jaime Neves in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montinhos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Paulo Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homero Antunes in the 33rd minute of play forced Atafona FC's goalkeeper Humberto Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Montinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Viana came free, but Fabrício Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montinhos FC's Hermano Pinhal got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Homero Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Renato Sardinha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atafona FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Montinhos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Macedo took the corner. Humberto Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Gueifão in the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Atafona FC's Fabrício Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaime Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. João Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Atafona FC's Humberto Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homero Antunes in the 72nd minute of play. Homero Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Brás having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Neves in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Montinhos FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Viana. Humberto Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Sardinha in the 91st minute of play. When Paulo Moniz fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atafona FC's protests and gave Paulo Moniz a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Humberto Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Sardinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jaime Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atafona FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Montinhos FC to leave the ground with a draw.
